GRSV parton densities revisited
نویسنده
چکیده
R = FL/2xF1, in longitudinally polarized DIS off various different targets (p, n, d) have become available in the past two years: E142, E143, and SMC have presented their final data sets [ 1], and new results from HERMES, E154, and E155 have been reported recently [ 2]. Since none of these measurements were included in our original NLO QCD analysis [ 3], it seems to be appropriate to reanalyse these data within the framework of [ 3]. In NLO the polarized structure function g1 in (1) reads (suppressing all x and Q dependence)

A Collection of Polarized Parton Densities
A significant number of parameterizations for the polarized parton densities have appeared in the literature. Using the CTEQ evolution package, these distributions have been evolved consistently preparatory to compilation into an integrated package in the spirit of PDFLIB by Plothow-Besch. Here, a comparison of a few of the more recent distributions are made. Table 1: This is a partial listing ...
متن کاملLeptoproduction of Charm Revisited
We calculate the energy–momentum distribution of the charmed quarks produced in neutrino reactions on protons, quantifying the importance of mass and current non– conservation effects. We study the strange and charm distributions probed in neutrino interactions in the presently accessible kinematical region. Some ambiguities inherent to the extraction of the parton densities from dimuon data ar...
متن کاملDynamical Parton Distributions Revisited
Dynamical parton densities, generated radiatively from valence–like inputs at some low resolution scale, are confronted with recent small–x data on deep inelastic and other hard scattering processes. It is shown that within theoretical uncertainties our previous (1994) dynamical/radiative parton distributions are compatible with most recent data and still applicable within the restricted accura...
متن کاملCalculations with off-shell matrix elements, TMD parton densities and TMD parton showers
A new calculation using off-shell matrix elements with TMD parton densities supplemented with a newly developed initial state TMD parton shower is described. The calculation is based on the KaTie package for an automated calculation of the partonic process in high-energy factorization, making use of TMD parton densities implemented in TMDlib. The partonic events are stored in an LHE file, simil...

Associated with the use of conventional integrated parton densities are kinematic approximations on parton momenta which result in unphysical differential distributions for final-state particles. We argue that it is important to reformulate perturbative QCD results in terms of fully unintegrated parton densities, differential in all components of the parton momentum.
